Google Pixel 2: all you need to know

Recently Google released the latest teaser about Pixel 2. The video announcing October 4th as a release date received very nice reactions added to those about the old Pixel:

“I love how creative google is. Please make it affordable this time"

“Brilliant advertising. Well done.”

“I want Google to succeed badly as they have the ability to provide much more personalized content as we use Google, youtube, and lots of their products and they have the best assistant and if there are any android phone that could beat iphone in the long run eventually is the Google phones .. it doesn't take much brain to understand this ... And moreover Google should be able to beat iphone in the long run because android has far more potential than ios..."

“ive been an apple fangirl for a while but if this looks like its really better than the iphone x i might be swayed"

The rumor actually is that the original Google Pixel was ki

nd of rushed, but knowing Google we could only expect that it will get way better.

So what we know about? Let the speculation start now!

Release Date: 4th of October!

Price: The first Pixel was quite expensive and people weren’t happy about it. But, unfortunately we all know, that technology doesn’t get cheaper, so what we are guessing is that the price will be similar or even a bit inflated.

Features: Water-resistant, BoomSound audio, Edge Sense, bezel-less screen and I am really sorry, but no headphones jack.

Specs: Pixel 2 to be the first one to use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset, which promises 10% better performance than the original Pixel.

No news on battery yet, but what else to expect is 4GB RAM, hopefully, 128GB storage, but no microSD expansion.

A lot of confusing speculations about the screen size are claiming that there might be 2 or even 3 phones with a different size which goes up to 5.99- inch display, OLED panels from LG, 18:9 aspect ratio, similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 and 2560×1312 resolution.

Design: If leaks are to be true, there are some differences from the earlier Pixel: a large speaker above the screen, the fingerprint sensor is still on the rear. The glass section is still present, but it is thinner.

What else: We already mentioned these amazing features as BoomSound and Edge Sense. Another addition to the cool stuff is that Google Assistant will be present and way cleverer. Another extremely important thing- Android O, which is already available as a developer preview.

If that is not good enough, you can always watch the teaser again and again if you are a fan of Big Pun:
